Links Course

The Links Course is a classic 18 hole championship course created in tandem with nature.  The course has the typical characteristics of links golf with large undulating greens and numerous small deep bunkers.

The greens are built on a bed of sand then shaped to liken the soft sand dunes of a typical Scottish links course. The grass specification for the links course is a fescue blend, providing the playing characteristics typical to links courses.

Our beautiful red brick clubhouse is visible from every hole on the course and on clear days one can see all the way to Turning Torso in Malmö.

With around 20 meters altitude difference the course is a demanding and exciting golf experience which requires a certain amount of guile to avoid the small stream which runs along seven of the holes on the links. In accordance with tradition, links courses have no trees. No rule without exception. We have one. It grows all by itself behind the first green.

We also have on the course two very old mining sites. Legend has it that a young farmer’s son had fallen into one of these sites and his father tried to rescue him. His screams of help are still to be heard on the long light summer nights.
